How donations help

We all know that a donation to Guy’s and St Thomas’ and the Evelina will do nothing but good. Here are some of the projects that are funded by the charity events our volunteers make possible, and the funds our supporters generously donate.

We have to take extra special care of our smaller patients, which sometimes means they stay at the Evelina for extended periods of time. £10 could help purchase gifts for children staying in hospital over Christmas, and make their stay a great deal brighter.

Surgery is always a difficult thing to go through, no matter how straightforward the procedure. £20 could help buy a mobile sensory unit to promote relaxation and play for a child who has come out of surgery and needs a bit of extra support.

£30 could go towards funding the latest medical equipment for our children’s heart unit, to ensure the life-saving work we carry out continues at the most efficient rate possible.
